Description

  • Lead technical strategy, solution design, and hands-on implementation for Salesforce B2C Commerce projects, including headless Storefront Next storefronts.
  • Develop end-to-end solution architectures that address client business requirements and end-user needs.
  • Review solution designs and code for quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Communicate technical solutions, architecture decisions, and tradeoffs to business stakeholders and clients.
  • Advise clients on requirements, tradeoffs, and timely decisions to support successful delivery.
  • Collaborate on pre-sales scoping and estimates with project managers, sales teams, subject-matter experts, and clients.
  • Drive project momentum by identifying blockers, maintaining delivery timelines, and coordinating clients and delivery teams.
  • Own engagement quality, including test strategy, code-review standards, CI/CD, and release readiness.
  • Design DevOps processes, including repository and environment strategies and external-system lower-environment planning.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to the Studio Science Commerce team.

Requirements

  • Deep Salesforce B2C Commerce expertise and experience leading technical design and implementation.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into end-to-end solution architectures.
  • Consulting and client-facing experience, including communicating technical tradeoffs to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience with code review, test strategy, CI/CD, release readiness, and DevOps process design.
  • Ability to use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining code-quality and architecture standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a continual-feedback environment and handle stressful situations with poise and tact.
  • Ability to work remotely from a United States-based home location.
  • Availability to work with global clients across multiple time zones and travel occasionally to client sites and Studio Science headquarters in Indianapolis.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
  • Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer and B2C Commerce Architect certifications (preferred).
  • Experience migrating SFRA or SiteGenesis implementations to PWA Kit, Composable Storefront, or Storefront Next (preferred).
  • Experience with Salesforce Order Management, PCI-relevant payment architecture, secure customer-data handling, other enterprise commerce platforms, or broader Salesforce products (preferred).
