Description

  • Identify and research potential customers through inbound channels.
  • Qualify leads against the ideal customer profile.
  • Execute region-specific outreach strategies to grow Wati’s LATAM footprint.
  • Communicate with prospects via email, phone, WhatsApp, and virtual meetings.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Marketing to hand off qualified leads and share market insights.
  • Maintain accurate lead and opportunity data in the CRM.
  • Share regular updates and reporting with the regional team.
  • Test outreach tactics, gather market feedback, and help refine go-to-market messaging for the region.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a customer-facing role, preferably in SaaS or tech.
  • Deep understanding of the LATAM market and experience working with businesses in the region.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, with intermediate English for internal communication.
  • Comfortable using HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or other CRM tools.
  • Background as an SDR or AE in SaaS with a focus on conversational marketing is a plus.
  • Consultative sales mindset with resilience in handling objections and curiosity to learn and adapt.
  • Passion for showing how automation and conversational experiences via WhatsApp can improve customer engagement for SMBs and enterprises.
