Description

  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing customers to expand adoption of Versapay’s payments and AR automation solutions.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to build coordinated account strategies and strategic account plans.
  • Engage senior finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders to understand priorities, challenges, and transformation goals.
  • Lead the commercial motion in accounts, including opportunity identification, qualification, value articulation, proposal development, and negotiation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales-related activities throughout the expansion cycle.
  • Track, manage, and forecast pipeline activity and provide accurate updates to management.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Solutions Consulting, and Implementation to support customer opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by recommending tailored solutions and sharing best practices to reduce manual work and improve payment efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience.
  • Experience managing and growing existing accounts with a focus on relationship building and client retention.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to close mid-market deals without executive sponsorship.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience closing deals with an average selling price of $50K+.
  • Experience in a tech startup selling into finance, with accounting exposure, preferred.
  • Ability to develop your own business opportunities and take them to final sale.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving pieces while coordinating internal teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and sales engagement platforms such as Salesloft, Outreach, or HVS.

  • Base salary of $80,000-$90,000 per year.
  • On-target earnings of $135,000-$150,000.
