Description

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to target, grow, and expand the Western U.S. client base.
  • Generate pipeline opportunities and consistently meet or exceed ARR sales targets and quota.
  • Perform outbound prospecting to target accounts and close new logo sales.
  • Follow up on Sales Development and Marketing Qualified Leads to convert them into pipeline opportunities.
  • Deliver sales demonstrations that communicate Veracross value to multiple school departments and buyer personas.
  • Work with Sales Engineers to provide product demonstrations to schools.
  • Build trusted relationships with prospects by identifying their challenges and positioning Veracross as the strategic solution.
  • Manage contacts, leads, and opportunities through Salesforce.com and maintain accurate notes, pipeline, and forecast data.
  • Collaborate with North America sales, Marketing, Client Experience, Product Management, sales operations, and finance to improve sales velocity and bookings.
  • Provide market feedback on trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to expand company offerings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an Account Executive role selling to multiple buyers.
  • Proven sales experience in a SaaS sales model.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding ARR targets and quota attainment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including sales presentations.
  • Ability to explain complex technical information in a clear, easy-to-understand way.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience in a SaaS EdTech company is preferred.
  • Salesforce experience is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Strong preference for a candidate based in territory, especially CA or WA.
