Description

  • Generate new demand and opportunities for the sales organization to pursue.
  • Qualify marketing-generated demand against established criteria before passing opportunities to account executives.
  • Discover, validate, and engage additional personas and buying group members involved in purchase decisions.
  • Nurture groups of prospects through multi-touch cadences to assess interest and advance opportunities.
  • Track prospecting, qualification, and nurture activity in Salesforce and manage daily outreach workflows.
  • Coordinate outreach activities across the expanded Veeam team and aligned sales teams.
  • Conduct outbound calls, voicemails, social outreach, and emails as part of daily prospecting.
  • Maintain a solid working knowledge of Veeam products and their benefits to prospects.
  • Meet monthly KPIs such as signals converted, opportunities created, and meetings set up.
  • Participate in call-out days, events, and ongoing enablement on products, marketing updates, sales methodology, and customer buying behaviors.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluent level of English.
  • Previous sales experience, ideally with high-tech products or services, is preferred.
  • Outbound calling and/or Revenue Development Representative experience is a plus.
  • Technical education and knowledge of storage backup, cloud backup, and related manufacturers is preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of business research tools such as LinkedIn, Google, Salesforce or similar CRM, and Hoovers.
  • Excellent correspondence skills across Outlook, instant messaging, and phone, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
