Description

  • Achieve bookings, revenue, and margin targets for the assigned business segment.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans and sales strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Build and expand key relationships with target health plan accounts.
  • Drive new business acquisition by prospecting, securing referrals, and booking meetings with target accounts.
  • Sell to senior leaders and C-level executives at national and regional health plans.
  • Prepare and support key sales meetings, including onsite and phone presentations.
  • Lead and complete RFI and RFP responses for prospective accounts.
  • Negotiate and manage complex contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, and SLAs.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives that support customer-facing efforts in the territory.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, including executive meetings and key conferences.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of senior-level sales experience in health plans is required.
  • Proven success building strategic relationships and closing complex deals in the health plan/payer market.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead sales strategy and revenue growth within value-based care.
  • Deep expertise in quality, risk adjustment, and related care delivery funding models.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience selling in complex environments is required.
  • Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and presentation skills are required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • High degree of personal organization, time management, and multitasking ability is required.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Ability to travel 50% to 75% is required.
