Description

  • Own and drive solution architecture for AEM Cloud Service and Edge Delivery Services implementations.
  • Define technical standards, best practices, and development guidelines.
  • Establish and enforce non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, security, and resiliency.
  • Lead backend design decisions across APIs, integrations, and architecture.
  • Design and deliver headless and omnichannel architectures using EDS.
  • Implement integrations with CRM, PIM, DAM, marketing tech, and identity systems.
  • Oversee API strategy using REST and GraphQL with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Own and guide CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and DevOps practices.
  • Establish observability frameworks including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder communication while ensuring delivery quality and timelines.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • 4+ years working with AEM as a Cloud Service and Edge Delivery Services (EDS).
  • Proven experience in a Technical Lead or Senior Lead role.
  • Strong expertise in Java 11+/17, Sling, OSGi, JCR, Oak, AEM Core Components, and Content Fragments/GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with Universal Editor and EDS delivery models.
  • Deep understanding of API design, integration patterns, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD and release management tools such as Cloud Manager, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of cloud observability tools, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform is a plus), dispatcher/CDN configuration, and security practices including OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, Adobe IMS, and secrets management.
  • Experience with Adobe I/O Runtime, Adobe Target/Launch/Analytics integrations, API gateways, or headless/composable architectures is preferred.
  • Applicants must be based in Ontario or Québec, and Québec-based candidates must be fluent in English.

  • Salary range of $115,000 CAD to $150,000 CAD annually, depending on experience and location.
