Description

  • Mentor full-stack engineers and promote engineering excellence and Extreme Programming practices.
  • Lead application architecture and technical direction, ensuring scalability, security, and business alignment.
  • Set standards for code quality, TDD/BDD, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to convert requirements into technical strategies.
  • Develop full-stack applications while remaining actively involved in coding and remote pairing.
  • Own the complete development lifecycle from design and architecture through testing and deployment.
  • Foster collaborative XP practices, including remote pairing and rapid feedback loops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
  • Technical leadership experience and 6+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • 6+ years of experience with Java and Spring.
  • Experience with functional programming and Java Streams.
  • 2+ years of React and reactive UI development experience.
  • 2+ years of TDD/BDD experience with JUnit, Jasmine, Mockito, and Protractor/Selenium.
  • 2+ years of microservices experience using Spring Boot/Cloud.
  • Experience with DevOps development and Jenkins; Jenkins experience is required.
  • Experience designing and deploying cloud or hybrid solutions in containerized environments such as Kubernetes or Cloud Foundry.
  • Knowledge of microservices, service discovery, and circuit breakers; AI experience is also required.
  • Strong leadership, prioritization, delegation, problem-solving, adaptability, and information-solution assessment skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English; Kotlin experience is an advantage.
