Description

  • Gather ITOM requirements from end users, IT teams, and stakeholders.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor software engineers through technical guidance and peer reviews.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications and configure UI, workflows, work orders, inventory, and technician locations.
  • Design and implement Flow Designer solutions, business rules, scripts, integrations, and logic.
  • Configure REST and SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and other applications.
  • Develop and validate service maps, impact assessment rules, and event management solutions.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and promote update sets and data across ServiceNow environments.
  • Remediate production incidents and maintain operational documentation and SOPs.
  • Coordinate with technical leads to ensure consistent implementation patterns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience implementing, administering, configuring, or developing ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using MID Servers and cloud-to-cloud connections.
  • Experience with SOAP, REST, bidirectional, and automated web service integrations.
  • Experience with data extraction technologies such as JDBC and ODBC or ETL integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script Includes.
  • Ability to create technical design documents and user documentation.
  • Experience with strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordinating people and resources.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Willingness to complete ServiceNow competency certifications and module accreditations; ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow CSA, and CAD are preferred.
