Description

  • Develop new institutional accounts and grow business opportunities within the assigned North Texas territory.
  • Research and prospect potential customers through cold calling, email outreach, trade show leads, and inbound leads.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline and forecast revenue using multiple outreach channels.
  • Collaborate with Customer Care to prepare quotes and close sales.
  • Manage post-sale activities and support new customers to help drive year-over-year retention.
  • Conduct on-site presentations, sales demos, and webinar presentations to student groups.
  • Attend conferences and trade shows to engage both B2B and B2C prospects.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activity, including notes, follow-ups, emails, and call logs.
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to capture market insights, customer feedback, and lead data.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly new sales revenue goals while supporting team initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science, marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience, or prior use of UWorld to pass the NCLEX exam.
  • Previous sales experience in education or publishing preferred, but not required.
  • Proven ability to convert prospects and meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Experience in qualifying opportunities, account development, and time management.
  • Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of large groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and recommend solutions using a consultative sales approach.
  • Energetic, outgoing, friendly, persuasive, and goal-oriented demeanor.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% within the assigned territory.
