Description

  • Attain quarterly and annual revenue targets for the assigned territory.
  • Deliver accurate and timely revenue forecasts.
  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers across multiple organizational levels.
  • Develop contingency and risk mitigation plans for the region as needed.
  • Develop and execute supply agreements to support new and existing business.
  • Collaborate with operations to minimize time to revenue.
  • Maintain the Salesforce CRM database with up-to-date information.
  • Represent the company at relevant trade shows.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, share customer feedback, and introduce new product ideas to internal partners.
  • Develop country-specific strategic plans and marketing plans with portfolio directors, product managers, and marketing.
  • Work with channel partners to drive activity and assess return on effort.
  • Spend a minimum of 3-5 business days per month in Vietnam while based in Thailand.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience selling life science reagents and solutions.
  • Proven track record of delivering financial targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Knowledge of synthetic biology and next-generation sequencing products and markets preferred.
  • Experience with custom or made-to-order business is a strong plus.
  • B2B sales experience preferred, particularly selling to pharma, chemical, and/or Agbio organizations.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of synthetic biology applications using synthetic genes, pathways, and organisms.
  • Background in technical sales and support or product management preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com is desirable.
  • Demonstrated drive, determination, and self-motivation.
  • Strong scientific problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up or change-oriented environment.
  • Proven coaching, mentoring, team-building, and leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of tactical execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology or a similar field preferred.
