Description

  • Negotiate and execute enterprise renewal contracts using sound business judgment.
  • Develop win-win negotiation strategies that maximize contract value while preserving customer relationships.
  • Partner with Director-level and above stakeholders on strategic account planning ahead of renewals.
  • Work 6+ months in advance of upcoming renewals and maintain accurate forecasts.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Samsara products and licensing models.
  • Monitor customer health metrics to identify and communicate renewal risks proactively.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex contract finalization issues and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Track and maintain customer data and renewal information in Samsara systems.
  • Act as an internal renewals brand ambassador.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quota attainment in renewals or account management.
  • Experience negotiating complex $250K+ enterprise or major SaaS agreements in person and remotely with executives.
  • Ability to close deals with integrity, business acumen, and independence.
  • Experience building strong partnerships with peers and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent client-facing and executive communication skills.
  • High activity level, enthusiasm, and self-motivation.
  • Proven influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Business proficiency in English and German.
  • Business proficiency in either French or German is preferred.
