Description

  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop a cross-functional engineering team.
  • Partner with Product Management to own global in-person acquiring products.
  • Set technical direction and oversee end-to-end delivery of payment platforms and applications.
  • Lead architecture for third-party vendor, hardware, and external payment network integrations.
  • Maintain reliable live products across development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and operations.
  • Drive platform transformation and scale localized payment networks such as QR and UPI.
  • Support European expansion through engineering rollout toolkits.
  • Guide architecture decisions and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and developing Backend, Mobile, and Web engineers.
  • Expertise in at least one core engineering domain, with the ability to lead across platforms in a T-shaped model.
  • Extensive experience building robust applications, server-side systems, mobile deployment architectures, and scalable platforms.
  • Experience with cloud-native environments, microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
  • Experience integrating complex third-party vendors, hardware providers, and external payment networks.
  • Full lifecycle ownership of technical solutions, including testing, deployment, monitoring, and production operations.
  • Experience in FinTech, acquiring, in-person payments, ePOS systems, or payment gateway integrations preferred.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, AWS, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Angular, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin preferred.
