Description

  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop a cross-functional engineering team of Backend, Mobile, and Web engineers.
  • Partner with Product Management to own product strategy, technical direction, and end-to-end execution.
  • Design and oversee reliable systems for ePOS solutions, Tap to Pay technologies, mobile apps, pricing engines, and localized payment networks.
  • Define architectural strategies for third-party vendor, hardware, and external payment-network integrations.
  • Lead platform transformation initiatives and engineering scale-up for international market expansion.
  • Own technical solutions across development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production operations.
  • Guide architecture decisions and translate complex product strategies into reliable platform solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts and decisions effectively with product and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience directly managing, coaching, and developing cross-functional Backend, Mobile, and Web engineering teams.
  • Expertise in at least one core engineering domain or platform, with the ability to guide solutions across multiple technology areas.
  • Extensive experience building robust applications, server-side systems, mobile deployment architectures, and scalable systems.
  • Experience with cloud-native environments, microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience integrating complex third-party vendors, hardware providers, and external payment networks.
  • Experience owning technical solutions throughout their full lifecycle, including testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
  • Hands-on technical leadership experience guiding architecture and engineering best practices.
  • FinTech experience, particularly in acquiring, in-person payments, ePOS, or payment gateway integrations, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Angular, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin is beneficial.
