Description

  • Hunt and close new business in assigned metropolitan markets that match Tenna’s mid-market customer profile.
  • Prospect potential customers through outbound outreach, inbound lead follow-up, and strategic touchpoints.
  • Build relationships with prospects via phone, email, in-person visits, and onsite meetings when helpful to deal progression.
  • Attend tradeshows, conferences, association events, and webinars to identify, qualify, and engage stakeholders.
  • Research prospects using internet sources, CRM searches, and prospecting tools to develop targeted outreach strategies.
  • Create and execute tailored outreach micro-strategies for different customers and personas.
  • Track prospect activity, touchpoints, and opportunity details accurately in CRM.
  • Collaborate with managers and internal teams on pipeline health, forecasts, and new business strategy.
  • Lead in-person and virtual product demonstrations and conduct discovery to understand customer workflows, challenges, and buying processes.
  • Negotiate contracts, draft proposals, quotes, and contracts, and close deals using appropriate cross-functional support.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role selling SaaS or technology solutions, preferably to construction or related industries.
  • Prior experience in a quota-carrying closing role with field or outside selling is strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience facilitating all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, relationship-building, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • 3+ years of experience conducting targeted searches and queries to research, qualify, and convert sales leads.
  • Experience in a quota-carrying role delivering consistent revenue growth that meets or exceeds quarterly business plans and forecasts is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or another business-related major is preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce and HubSpot is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, especially for negotiations, public speaking, and presentations.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% within the assigned market.
  • Must be deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
  • Must currently live in or be willing to relocate to Phoenix, AZ; Salt Lake City, UT; or Denver, CO.
