Description

  • Source, develop, and close deals with local governments in selected US states.
  • Identify and secure small deals and pilots while managing longer, complex sales cycles.
  • Manage leads and pipeline with strong forecasting discipline and CRM hygiene.
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly new business results.
  • Deliver an excellent client journey and buying experience.
  • Prepare and deliver demos, pitches, and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
  • Represent the company at seminars, trade shows, and other marketing activities.
  • Document market feedback and share insights to inform strategy and the product roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with city stakeholders, including existing accounts such as New York City DOT.
  • Work closely with the CEO, product managers, engineers, and international teams on developed opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of new business sales experience in the US, preferably in technology.
  • 1-2 years of experience selling into government agencies, including federal, state, or local.
  • Strong pipeline management and CRM hygiene with a focus on hitting targets.
  • Excellent client engagement, presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and transport.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment.
  • Comfort using advanced AI tools to support decision-making and productivity.
  • Experience with AI, telemetry, or SaaS sales is a bonus.
  • Experience with RFPs and tenders is a bonus.
  • Background in the built environment, urban design, or transport is a bonus.

Benefits

  • Salary of $100,000-$140,000 plus commission, with total on-target earnings of $200,000-$260,000.
  • Remote role based on the East Coast of the US.
