Description

  • Design infrastructure for high-load distributed systems, from bare metal to Kubernetes in the cloud.
  • Own the platform’s reliability, performance, fault tolerance, and security.
  • Lead and mentor the DevOps team, supporting engineer development and involving the team in architectural and product decisions.
  • Build and execute infrastructure roadmaps covering migrations, high availability, observability, and security.
  • Collaborate with development teams and product managers on planning and implementation of changes.
  • Participate in incident management for both technical infrastructure failures and process-related issues.
  • Manage projects by planning work, decomposing tasks, tracking progress, and removing blockers.
  • Drive infrastructure strategy and best practices across the company.
  • Contribute to hiring and team formation when needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Team Lead, Architect, or Technical Lead in a product-focused company.
  • Proven leadership experience driving projects, managing people, and developing engineers.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to design architecture and foresee the impact of decisions.
  • Ownership mindset focused on solving problems rather than assigning blame.
  • Proactive approach to shaping vision and leading the team.
  • Experience with high-load and high-availability products is preferred.
  • Experience migrating infrastructure to Kubernetes or to the cloud is preferred.
  • Experience building CI/CD and GitOps processes is preferred.
  • Experience hiring and forming engineering teams is preferred.
  • Programming skills in Python or Golang are an advantage.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP is an advantage.
