Description

  • Drive best practices for data streaming, processing, analytics, and monitoring infrastructure.
  • Deploy and manage production workloads on Kubernetes platforms including Amazon EKS and Google GKE.
  • Provision and manage secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
  • Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitHub Enterprise Actions.
  • Support cloud-native data services including Kinesis, Glue, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and BigTable.
  • Develop Python automation scripts and tooling for DevOps processes.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement proactive reliability improvements.
  • Apply SRE practices to improve service reliability, scalability, and cost effectiveness.
  • Analyze cloud spending and implement cost-saving strategies while ensuring security compliance.
  • Drive adoption of company standards and collaborate with data and cross-functional teams on DevOps and SRE practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with AWS and GCP data services, including Kinesis, Glue, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow.
  • Production experience deploying and managing Kubernetes workloads on EKS or GKE.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Expertise managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitHub Enterprise Actions.
  • Python programming skills for automation and scripting.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
  • Strong understanding of SRE principles, performance monitoring, incident response, and reliability engineering.
  • Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure costs and influencing change across multiple teams.
  • Ability to collaborate in an agile environment and support multiple teams.
  • Preferred: experience with data lakes, Spark, Flink, Snowflake, BigQuery, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Airflow, Cloud Composer, Istio, GitOps, or Kubernetes-native tooling.

Benefits

  • US base salary of $133,000–$209,000.
  • Additional compensation may include bonus, commission, and equity.
