Description

  • Engage with customers to understand needs, extract requirements, and propose scalable technical solutions.
  • Develop Python components, Terraform modules, and pipelines to automate tools and processes.
  • Use APIs to extract and update data, trigger and monitor processes, and integrate infrastructure systems.
  • Deploy, maintain, and monitor cloud infrastructure for performance and reliability.
  • Create data models, technical documentation, and user best practices.
  • Develop DevOps and DataOps policies, processes, and standards.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and develop innovative product and data operations solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams while executing hands-on technical work and owning project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python and Bash, with fluency in SQL.
  • Experience with databases, data warehouses, data lakes, data pipelines, and process improvement.
  • Strong AWS knowledge, including EC2, Lambda, IAM, SQS, RDS, Kinesis, Glue, and EKS.
  • Familiarity with Terraform, GitHub, Docker, and dbt.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with constant iteration and ambiguity.
  • Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, own projects with limited guidance, and collaborate in diverse, non-hierarchical teams.
  • Experience interacting directly with customers and translating needs into technical solutions.
  • AWS associate- or professional-level certification, such as Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer, preferred.
