Description

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the national sales team to achieve revenue, door count, and merchandising goals.
  • Manage relationships with key national and strategic accounts while aligning with corporate sales strategy and customer needs.
  • Develop, monitor, and execute sales plans, programs, and promotions to increase sell-through and market share.
  • Oversee daily sales operations, including pipeline reviews, forecasting, and performance tracking across national territories and accounts.
  • Set KPIs, track sales metrics, and provide regular reporting and insights to the VP of Sales.
  • Use HubSpot and NetSuite to manage pipelines, support forecasting, and maintain accurate sales data.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to execute programs and support customer satisfaction.
  • Identify growth opportunities in existing key accounts and new channels to expand profitability and brand presence.
  • Support sales team development through coaching, performance reviews, and training initiatives.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of sales management experience, including at least 3 years managing key or national accounts.
  • Proven success driving growth in retail, distribution, or consumer product sales channels.
  • Strong leadership and people management experience, including leading remote teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for HQ visits, line reviews, trade shows, and new account prospecting.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems including HubSpot, NetSuite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales, profitability, and new account goals.
  • Experience building and leading a high-performing sales team.
  • Experience fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within a sales organization.
  • Track record of strengthening partnerships with key national accounts through proactive engagement and strategic planning.
