Description

  • Prospect and close new employer opportunities for Sword Mind across consultants, direct employers, brokers, partners, and health plans.
  • Identify mental health RFPs, evaluations, pilots, and other strategic buying moments.
  • Build and execute a repeatable sales playbook covering account targeting, consultant mapping, broker activation, partner engagement, competitive positioning, executive outreach, and follow-up.
  • Generate in-year Mind pipeline while building qualified pipeline for 2027 and beyond.
  • Partner with the Employer Sales team to expand current Sword conversations and create new entry points for Mind.
  • Coordinate with Consultant Relations and Health Plan Partnerships to align ownership and present a unified Sword message to the market.
  • Lead discovery, qualification, executive presentations, finalist meetings, and commercial negotiations.
  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene, pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and clear communication on deal strategy, risks, and next steps.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Clinical, Health Economics, Customer Success, Consultant Relations, Partnerships, and Employer Sales to improve messaging and sales assets.
  • Represent Sword at consultant meetings, broker briefings, health plan conversations, industry events, employer forums, and strategic partner discussions.

Requirements

  • Proven hunter mentality with the ability to create new pipeline and turn whitespace into qualified opportunities.
  • Strategic sales experience with the ability to prioritize accounts and channels and run a disciplined playbook.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work within an existing sales organization without creating channel conflict or market confusion.
  • Experience selling into self-insured employers, consultants, brokers, partners, or health plans.
  • Preferred experience in mental health, behavioral health, EAP, digital health, healthcare navigation, wellbeing, or employer benefits.
  • Strong understanding of the mental health vendor landscape and how employers evaluate behavioral health solutions.
  • Ability to evaluate solutions based on clinical model, access, engagement, outcomes, ROI, member experience, implementation, and pricing.
  • Ability to partner effectively with regional sales leaders, consultant relations, health plan teams, marketing, product, clinical, and customer success.
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to explain complex clinical, financial, competitive, and AI concepts clearly.
  • High ownership, strong judgment, excellent internal communication, and comfort working in an emerging category.
