Description

  • Own the revenue number, including sales targets, pipeline creation, forecasting, and consistent attainment.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the global sales team with clear expectations and accountability for results.
  • Lead and evolve the RevOps function, including reporting, forecasting, CRM data quality, and revenue visibility.
  • Build and maintain a practical go-to-market strategy across Enterprise, SMB, partnerships, and expansion opportunities.
  • Personally manage and close strategic, enterprise, and high-priority deals.
  • Improve the sales process so it is clear, consistent, measurable, and repeatable.
  • Drive pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, deal inspection, and regular sales performance reviews.
  • Identify blockers and opportunities in sales performance and take action to improve conversion, velocity, win rates, and revenue outcomes.
  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to improve lead generation, messaging, enablement, customer insight, churn risk awareness, and product positioning.
  • Shape team structure, hiring plans, compensation design, territory planning, and market expansion decisions while providing data-informed updates to the executive team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in senior sales leadership roles with responsibility for product sales and revenue growth.
  • 3+ years leading a RevOps function.
  • 5+ years in the music industry, preferably in B2B.
  • Deep understanding of the business side of the music industry, including sync and marketing, with the contacts and experience to open doors.
  • Proven track record of leading B2B SaaS sales teams, ideally in music tech or adjacent creative industries.
  • Experience evolving and transforming sales teams, not just inheriting and maintaining them.
  • Experience building and improving effective RevOps teams and systems.
  • Autonomous and energetic approach to problem solving.
  • Collaborative, low-ego leadership style suited to a tight-knit executive team.
  • Experience managing distributed or remote teams across multiple geographies.
