Description

  • Act as the subject matter expert for technical counterparts at assigned partners.
  • Build rapport and credibility with partner technical leaders and individual contributors.
  • Own partner-involved bookings targets with the National Partner Manager and track key partner KPIs.
  • Promote Sumo Logic across the partner community through enablement sessions, account mapping, and in-person or virtual engagement.
  • Execute active campaigns and support pre- and post-event partner activities.
  • Collaborate with regional partner managers, sales teams, and internal technical resources.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between Sumo Logic and strategic partners.
  • Help partners position and leverage Sumo Logic solutions for customer and prospect opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience selling, supporting, or implementing enterprise solutions at or with VARs.
  • Preferred direct or indirect experience with security and analytics platforms such as Sumo Logic, Splunk, New Relic, DataDog, Exabeam, Sentinel, or LogRhythm.
  • Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience crafting data analytics queries using tools such as Sumo Logic, Splunk, SQL, or Kibana.
  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise technology, including servers, networking devices, SaaS solutions, and cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell, regular expressions, REST APIs, and JSON.
  • Proven track record of engaging directly with partners to solve technical and business challenges.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong business and technical acumen.
  • Previous experience delivering technical training.
  • Background in log management and/or security is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region up to 40%.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States at time of hire and throughout employment; visa sponsorship is not available.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $136,000 to $154,000.
  • Eligibility for bonus or commission plans.
  • Eligibility for benefits offerings.
  • Eligibility for equity awards.
