Description

  • Directly manage and nurture a named account list and develop account plans for upper middle market and enterprise companies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and coordinate executive touchpoints.
  • Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture sales opportunities.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for upper middle market and enterprise accounts.
  • Work with leaders across Engineering, Product, and Finance to run complex product workshops and financial analyses.
  • Contribute to platform partnership strategy and build repeatable processes and scaled engagement models.
  • Lead and contribute to team projects that improve and refine the sales process.
  • Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience, preferably selling a technical product, with a track record of top performance.
  • Proven ability to move complex, multi-party sales processes from inception to close in a highly consultative manner.
  • Experience working with upper middle market and enterprise companies.
  • Strong listening skills and ability to become a trusted resource for decision-makers across technology and finance teams.
  • Ability to understand complex technical problems and how Stripe's solutions can address them.
  • Strong presentation skills and superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements.
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interest in technology and a deep understanding of the space.
  • Experience in or excitement to learn about financial technology infrastructure.
  • Fastidious CRM hygiene and experience using sales forecasting metrics on a weekly and quarterly basis.
  • Prior experience at a growth-stage internet or software company (preferred).
  • Experience in fintech or payments (preferred).
