Description

  • Audit and overhaul the existing onboarding playbook to create a streamlined, automated, and repeatable process.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Onboarding Specialists.
  • Set clear expectations and build a high-performance team culture.
  • Partner with Sales to ensure smooth customer handoffs.
  • Work with Customer Success to support long-term customer health during implementation.
  • Track and report key onboarding metrics such as Time-to-Value, activation rates, CSAT, churn, and team capacity.
  • Identify root causes of onboarding friction and implement process improvements.
  • Improve onboarding workflows to reduce bottlenecks and accelerate customer value realization.
  • Lead change management efforts across the onboarding function and related teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role within Onboarding, Implementation, or Customer Success.
  • Proven experience managing implementation or onboarding teams in a fast-paced environment, with SaaS experience highly preferred.
  • Experience leading teams through change, including a pivot or process overhaul.
  • Demonstrated process optimization experience, including reducing onboarding friction or shortening implementation cycles.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including handling difficult conversations with Sales or Product teams.
  • Deep understanding of Customer Success and the importance of the first 30/60/90 days in customer lifetime value.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Jira, or Gainsight, or similar platforms, preferred.
  • Experience in the automotive industry, preferred.
  • Experience in a turnaround environment fixing a broken department or process, preferred.
