Description

  • Collaborate with customers on implementation projects, including platform configuration, scripting, troubleshooting, technical solution design, and architectural guidance.
  • Develop expertise in Smile’s technologies and healthcare standards, including HL7, FHIR, OpenID Connect, Kubernetes, Java, JavaScript, JSON, and XML.
  • Manage priorities across concurrent projects and escalate issues to leadership when needed.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to guide customer initiatives.
  • Partner with implementation, service, and account management teams to support profitable professional services engagements.
  • Provide technical guidance to support analysts and assist with troubleshooting processes.
  • Participate in the after-hours on-call support rotation.
  • Support the preparation and evaluation of RFIs and RFPs.
  • Record working hours accurately in NetSuite and maximize billable project time.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Java and JavaScript development.
  • Expertise with Spring, REST, SQL, and Git.
  • 3+ years of experience independently and collaboratively designing, developing, and delivering software solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, adaptability, and communication skills.
  • Experience leading meetings, documenting technical concepts, and influencing stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HL7 v2, FHIR, or CCDA (preferred).
  • Experience with Kafka, ActiveMQ or other messaging systems, MongoDB, Docker, and Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Experience with Python, healthcare systems, cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or iterative methodologies (preferred).
  • Undergraduate degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
