Description

  • Lead and support multiple Data Engineering teams while fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Mentor engineers and support their professional and technical development.
  • Design, review, and oversee scalable data solutions using Databricks and cloud technologies.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, architecture principles, and documentation practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on maintainability, performance, and reliability.
  • Drive process optimization, automation, and continuous engineering improvement.
  • Establish quality assurance, data integrity, reliability, and governance practices.
  • Review technical deliverables for alignment with engineering standards and client expectations.
  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to define requirements and technical strategies.
  • Facilitate communication across technical teams, business partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Advanced English proficiency in written and spoken communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in Data Engineering and hands-on experience with Databricks.
  • Experience with Apache Spark and cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing.
  • Experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and making technical decisions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Consulting and international client experience preferred.
  • Experience with data governance, quality frameworks, Lakehouse architecture, CI/CD, DevOps, or Infrastructure as Code preferred.
  • Databricks, cloud, or Data Engineering certifications preferred.
