Description

  • Gather and clarify client requirements for Acumatica customizations and recommend appropriate business solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, buildable technical designs and specifications.
  • Develop Acumatica customizations, extensions, and integrations.
  • Direct, oversee, and review developers’ work for quality and delivery.
  • Mentor developers on code quality and client communication.
  • Use Claude, GitHub Copilot, and other AI tools to create specifications, generate and review code, and modernize customizations.
  • Partner with Solutions Architecture and Consulting teams on scoping and delivery of larger engagements.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for client customization discussions and manage expectations.

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on Acumatica development experience with C#, SQL Server, APIs, and third-party integrations.
  • Acumatica certification or Acumatica implementation consulting experience with strong technical depth.
  • Experience gathering and clarifying requirements directly with business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge client requests and recommend simpler or better solutions.
  • Experience mentoring, directing, or reviewing other developers’ work.
  • Fluency with AI coding and productivity tools, including Claude and GitHub Copilot.
  • Working knowledge of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and inventory management processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in a client-facing role.
  • Experience with Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage, or another mid-market ERP platform preferred.
  • Exposure to distribution, manufacturing, construction, or field service operations preferred.
