Description

  • Collaborate with customers on implementation projects, including platform configuration, scripting, troubleshooting, technical solution design, and architectural guidance.
  • Develop expertise in Smile’s technologies and healthcare standards, including HL7, FHIR, OpenID Connect, Kubernetes, Java, JavaScript, JSON, and XML.
  • Manage priorities across concurrent projects and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to guide customer initiatives.
  • Collaborate with implementation, service, and account management teams to support profitable professional services engagements.
  • Support technical support analysts with troubleshooting and professional development.
  • Participate in the after-hours on-call support rotation as needed.
  • Support the development and evaluation of RFIs and RFPs.
  • Record working hours accurately in NetSuite and maximize billable project time.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience with Java and JavaScript development.
  • Expertise with Spring, REST, SQL, and Git.
  • 3+ years of experience independently and collaboratively designing, developing, and delivering software solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead meetings, document ideas, persuade stakeholders, and manage varied high-level issues.
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HL7 v2, FHIR, or CCDA preferred.
  • Experience with Kafka, ActiveMQ or other messaging systems, MongoDB, Docker, and Kubernetes preferred.
  • Experience with healthcare systems, cloud development, Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies, Python, or JavaScript preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
