Description

  • Lead a team of Enterprise Account Executives to exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Serve as a player-coach in a complex, solution-based sales process across multiple groups within Enterprise accounts.
  • Coach account executives to build and execute account strategies that grow existing business opportunities.
  • Drive senior executive engagement in target accounts.
  • Manage account, opportunity, and relationship planning while executing the company’s sales methodology.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering, Consulting, Customer Success, and Marketing to identify and close software and professional services solutions.
  • Proactively identify and address issues that improve growth velocity in the sales region.
  • Forecast sales accurately and deliver results consistently.
  • Use core business applications such as Smartsheet, Salesforce.com, Tableau, LinkedIn, and DiscoverOrg to manage the business.
  • Apply knowledge of enterprise market dynamics, budget cycles, funding sources, compliance requirements, and public sector procurement processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in enterprise software, preferably Enterprise SaaS.
  • 7+ years of experience in the software industry, preferably in SaaS business applications selling to sales, marketing, HR, finance, manufacturing, and other enterprise functions.
  • Cross-industry sales experience with a product that serves diverse use cases across multiple lines of business.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading sales teams to exceed quotas and drive growth in Enterprise accounts with an existing Smartsheet footprint.
  • Proven ability to execute land-and-expand strategies in strategic enterprise sales teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work cross-functionally, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience executing sales methodologies such as The Challenger Sale.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing software company where change is constant.
  • Skills with Smartsheet, Salesforce.com, Google Apps, and Tableau.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of budget cycles, funding sources, compliance requirements, and public sector procurement processes.

  • US base salary range of $140,000 to $180,000.
