Description

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed software and services sales quotas across your book of business.
  • Execute a solution-based sales process across commercial mature accounts with 500 to 4,999 employees.
  • Develop new business opportunities within existing customers by identifying high-value needs across departments and business lines.
  • Leverage existing relationships to expand Smartsheet’s footprint and drive revenue during renewals.
  • Build brand awareness with stakeholders at the C-suite, operational, and team levels.
  • Partner with Sales Engineers, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success teams to support the full sales cycle and close business.
  • Create and maintain Joint Engagement Plans for strategic solution deals.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and use MEDDICC qualification guidelines to support forecasting.
  • Use sales enablement tools and account research to identify top accounts and execute territory plans.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full sales cycle management experience with proven performance in the SaaS space.
  • 3+ years of experience managing customer relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS evaluation process and the ability to execute each stage of the sales cycle.
  • 3+ years of experience working across multiple functional departments and roles from initial engagement through implementation and renewal.
  • Ability to research accounts to uncover upsell opportunities and multi-thread opportunities across the organization.
  • Experience using CRM and BI tools, including Salesforce and Tableau, to track activities, key metrics, and territory insights.
  • Passion for working with new technologies and technical concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of post-secondary education.
  • Experience with MEDDICC qualification guidelines and accurate sales forecasting (preferred).
