Description

  • Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Develop and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect, cultivate, and maintain relationships to generate new business.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities across the assigned region, including clinics, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan to accelerate utilization in the territory.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including new business development and lead generation.
  • Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical and product information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Influence how the test is communicated to physicians and patients and provide feedback to improve market fit.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in the healthcare sector calling on providers in a specified geographic territory.
  • Proven sales track record with strong understanding of buyer and decision-maker types.
  • Strong selling, listening, presentation, and customer-needs assessment skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize opportunities effectively.
  • Ability to work strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
  • Consultative sales approach with problem-solving and logistics coordination skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently in a startup environment.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics related to patient information.
  • High standards of discretion, professionalism, values, and conduct when handling patient and physician information.
  • Experience in a startup environment (preferred).
  • Women’s health background (preferred).
  • Clinical laboratory experience (preferred).
  • Convertible book of business (preferred).

  • Total compensation of $184,569–$248,269 per year at plan, including a base salary of $136,869–$163,269.
