Description

  • Build and own the India events plan across field events, executive roundtables, customer/partner forums, and industry conferences aligned to pipeline targets and priority accounts.
  • Partner with India sales to develop integrated demand generation programs around events, including pre-event outreach, account-based invites, nurture, and follow-up motions.
  • Align sales and BDR teams on roles, responsibilities, follow-up strategy, and handoffs to convert engagement into meetings and opportunities.
  • Own India field marketing budgets and forecasting, and negotiate with venues and suppliers as needed.
  • Define success metrics and track performance in CRM and marketing automation systems, then share readouts and recommendations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for India regional sales leadership and APAC stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, trust, and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with the Field Marketing Manager on event execution and regional campaign strategy.
  • Influence senior stakeholders, including sales leaders, executives, and partners, to support event and demand generation outcomes.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of professional B2B marketing strategy experience with deep ownership of in-person events and field marketing programs in India.
  • Experience in enterprise or SaaS marketing is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of India enterprise buyer journeys, tech marketing channels, and regional nuances across major metros such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Pune.
  • Ability to independently run complex event programs end-to-end and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Excellent program management skills, including communications, budgets, timelines, vendors, and risk management.
  • SaaS or enterprise technology marketing experience is strongly preferred, including familiarity with long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder buying committees.
  • Strong event production instincts and vendor/agency negotiation skills across AV, fabrication, experiential, F&B, and venues.
  • ABM and digital campaign experience is required, with a track record of integrating these motions with in-person events to drive pipeline.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and provide concise reporting.
  • Ability to travel across India as needed for events, typically up to 25–35%.
