Description

  • Automate and implement tools and processes that enable rapid software development and deployment.
  • Design and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Perform automated system testing and deploy infrastructure and application code quickly, including cloud and serverless workloads.
  • Provide operational metrics and feedback to development and business teams.
  • Troubleshoot complex platform, application, network, and system issues.
  • Maintain the Shop Your Way platform and applications with a focus on uptime and production stability.
  • Support cloud, virtualization, and configuration management environments across heterogeneous systems.
  • Build and automate monitoring and observability processes for services and infrastructure.

Requirements

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional is required.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows systems, shell scripting, and at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or .NET.
  • Experience building CI/CD code pipelines with Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of databases, including SQL databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and DocumentDB.
  • Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS, including serverless architecture, provisioning, scaling, and security.
  • Experience with virtualization technology and automation.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, network infrastructure, and networking devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, DNS, LDAP, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as ELK, Grafana, and Zabbix.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and CDNs is an advantage.
  • RHCE certification is a big advantage; AWS Solutions Architecture or AWS SysOps certification is preferred.
