Description

  • Evaluate inbound merchant leads to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Assess merchants' current fulfillment methods via phone, email, and conversational platforms (e.g., Intercom) to determine fit for ShipBob's business model.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule demos and support the handoff to close deals with merchants new to ShipBob.
  • Use discretionary judgment to recommend merchants who fall outside standard criteria to sales management for further review.
  • Log and accurately track merchant interactions and information in the designated tracking/CRM system.
  • Achieve daily activity requirements for inbound merchant contact and demo scheduling.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and annual quotas.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required by the Demand Generation team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Passion for a career in sales with strong personal motivation to succeed.
  • Highly organized and goal-oriented with a clear process for achieving targets.
  • Excellent phone skills for calling on businesses.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Demonstrated diligence, accountability, and comfort working in a competitive environment.
  • Relentless persistence and resilience in pursuing leads and targets.
  • Familiarity with conversational/customer engagement platforms (e.g., Intercom) is preferred.
  • Location requirement: remote role based in India / eligibility to work in India.
