Description

  • Lead approximately half of Seeq’s engineering organization through management of end-user-facing squads.
  • Develop engineering capacity and organizational capability as the company and customer base grow.
  • Provide technical direction while remaining meaningfully engaged in engineering work.
  • Guide teams through software discovery, design, development, quality assurance, delivery, and support.
  • Drive Agile/Scrumban practices and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop engineering managers, team leaders, and individual contributors.
  • Resolve conflicts across individuals, teams, leaders, and peers.
  • Collaborate across the global remote organization using tools such as Zoom, Slack, and Qube Virtual Office.
  • Periodically travel to spend time with team members and company colleagues in person.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience managing and advancing technical engineering teams.
  • Current hands-on technical leadership experience.
  • Experience with distributed computing and deep knowledge of cloud ecosystems.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise software development lifecycles, including Agile/Scrumban, CI/CD, discovery, design, quality assurance, and support.
  • Strong mentoring, coaching, communication, conflict-resolution, and influencing skills.
  • Leadership style characterized by empathy, humility, transparency, curiosity, and collaboration.
  • High attention to detail, reliability, and sound judgment in a senior leadership role.
  • Availability to work within a compatible time zone, with core hours from 8 a.m. to noon Pacific.
  • Authorization to work in the country of residence; Seeq does not sponsor US F-1 or H-1B visas.
  • Willingness to travel periodically.
