Description

  • Lead, hire, manage, mentor, and coach a distributed global engineering team.
  • Own improvements to existing offerings and development of new security products.
  • Define the platform’s technical vision and architecture for scalability, stability, and resilience.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and product management on cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Establish engineering standards for quality, efficiency, security, and maintainability.
  • Drive adoption of engineering best practices across design, architecture, development, and DevSecOps.
  • Develop strategies to improve engineering quality and efficiency using AI tools, coding practices, and agile methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and technical excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15 years of software development experience, including 5 years building SaaS cybersecurity products.
  • Strong multi-cloud engineering experience.
  • Experience leading distributed international engineering teams and scaling engineering organizations.
  • Experience establishing standards for AI-assisted software development using tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated success adopting AI-powered developer tools and modern engineering practices while maintaining quality and security.
  • Experience with Secure SDLC practices and building DevOps or DevSecOps teams.
  • Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails and JavaScript/React; familiarity with Node.js, GCP, or Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Strong communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability, autonomy, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing engineers.
