Description

  • Provide strategic guidance to sales leadership and account executives on complex, high-value, and non-standard deals.
  • Set standards for deal structure, pricing, and commercial terms to maximize customer value and profitability.
  • Advise sales teams on New Logo, Expansion, Renewal, and Consumption/Usage-Based SaaS deal models.
  • Serve as an escalation point for pricing exceptions, non-standard terms, and other commercial risks.
  • Approve CPQ quotes and ordering documents in accordance with company policy and revenue recognition standards.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and executive leadership on deal trends, win/loss analysis, and profitability metrics.
  • Own and continuously improve the CPQ system and related commercial tools roadmap.
  • Develop and deliver global enablement and training on pricing models, commercial policies, and CPQ best practices.
  • Maintain a central commercial language library and policy repository to ensure consistency and reduce legal and financial risk.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the quote-to-cash process to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Track and report key deal metrics, including discounting, average selling price, term length, and non-standard term frequency.
  • Ensure executed deals and supporting documentation are compliant, audit-ready, and aligned with finance and accounting requirements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, or Finance.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading or managing a Deal Desk function in a high-growth, global SaaS environment.
  • Deep expertise in SaaS business models and the financial impact of deal structures on ARR, NRR, and gross margin.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, including ASC 606.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
  • MBA or advanced professional certification is a strong asset.
  • Prior experience in the Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) sector is highly preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Salesforce and hands-on administrative or ownership experience with a leading CPQ platform such as Salesforce CPQ, Apptus, or Zuora.
  • Proven ability to use data modeling and analytics to support commercial decisions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to simplify complex financial and legal concepts.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects and aligning Sales, Legal, and Finance stakeholders.
