Description

  • Drive new and repeat sales of Sapio products and professional services for assigned prospects and accounts.
  • Meet established sales quotas and accurately forecast customer business commitments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects and customers to align Sapio’s offerings with their current and emerging needs.
  • Sell consultatively and recommend product configuration options and professional service alternatives.
  • Arrange customer meetings, deliver presentations, and communicate customer goals and requirements to internal colleagues.
  • Prepare timely customer proposals and quotations to secure business.
  • Manage the sales process and develop account strategies for key customers.
  • Create account plans and opportunity plans that guide activities from outbound campaigns through deal closure.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Management to build and execute lasting partnerships.
  • Support lead generation through marketing campaigns, events, territory planning, and direct outbound outreach.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular status and call reports.
  • Monitor project status and handle ongoing customer communications and occasional conflict resolution.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in the life science, pharmaceutical, or clinical industry.
  • Traditional account management experience, ideally with LIMS/ELN solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Ability to travel to global and regional customer accounts as required.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain high-caliber customer relationships.
  • Experience using a CRM and following company standards.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, self-disciplined, and able to work independently from a remote, unsupervised location.
  • Strong prioritization skills and excellent work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver company presentations effectively.
  • Ability to plan and execute responsibilities with minimal direction.
  • Familiarity with account-related legal documents.
  • Bonus: scientific domain understanding across Discovery, Research, Development, Clinical, and Manufacturing.
  • Bonus: appreciation of the AI landscape affecting the lab environment.
  • Bonus: familiarity with Value Engineering frameworks and business case creation for enterprise software selling.
