Description

  • Drive technical engagement with partners and their technical counterparts.
  • Lead deep discovery into partner environments to identify solution fit, integration effort, and revenue opportunities.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key partners and become an expert on their ecosystems and solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Management and other teams to develop and maintain partner integrations.
  • Deliver presentations, demos, proof-of-value sessions, trainings, and technical support for partners and partner-facing teams.
  • Enable internal teams to understand, sell, and support partner integrations.
  • Prepare technical resources such as solution proposals and enablement materials for internal and external use.
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs.
  • Represent Samsara at partner meetings and events, including onsite work and travel as needed.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles while helping scale the partner program globally.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales technical role such as Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant.
  • Experience working in a channel or partner environment; fleet sales experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong technical and business acumen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of integration standards and transports such as XML, REST, SOAP, and EDI.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs between SaaS applications.
  • Exposure to SaaS-based integrations.
  • Experience or interest in IoT or general tinkering is a plus.
  • Background in logistics, supply chain, telematics, manufacturing, or general operations is a strong plus.
  • Fluency in English; fluency in French or German is a plus.
  • Experience with Command of the Message and MEDDPICC is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and support partners onsite when required.
