Description

  • Process a high volume of inbound quotes and manage standard to moderately complex term requests.
  • Partner closely with sales and sales leaders to support deal closure and streamline the deal cycle.
  • Act as an escalation point for deal exceptions, more difficult structuring issues, and global deal desk matters.
  • Design and approve deals and commercial models that support revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Provide explanations and solutions to complex deal-related problems.
  • Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to enable efficient deal processing and execution.
  • Help identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues that affect deal velocity.
  • Analyze commercial outcomes to support balanced results for both Rubrik and the customer.
  • Identify and recommend continuous process improvements for the Deal Desk.
  • Lead strategic conversations with sales and sales leadership as needed.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in deal management.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of inbound quotes and standard to moderately complex term requests.
  • Strong ability to build trusting relationships with team members and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to understand stakeholder interests and help resolve standard objections.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to improve deal desk processes.
  • Solid analytical thinking to evaluate commercial outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a similar field, or equivalent relevant experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Excel or Google Sheets (preferred).
  • Exposure to CPQ tools is a strong plus.
  • Basic understanding of commercial contracts and revenue accounting principles (preferred).

  • Base salary range of $95,900–$143,900 USD for SF Bay Area, DC Metro, NYC, and Seattle.
  • Base salary range of $86,300–$129,500 USD for all other U.S. offices/remote.
