Description

  • Define and execute a North America field events plan to increase brand visibility and achieve measurable business goals.
  • Develop and execute localized marketing strategies to generate demand, leads, and sales pipeline in specific regions.
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver seamless, impactful events.
  • Plan and execute a broad portfolio of events, including executive dinners, trade shows, conferences, and multi-city roadshows.
  • Lead event execution, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, pre-event and post-event marketing, and post-event analysis.
  • Track event metrics such as attendance, leads, opportunities, pipeline generated, and client feedback to assess success.
  • Present event performance metrics and actionable insights to stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
  • Use company websites, online content, industry trends, and emerging technologies to enhance event effectiveness and client experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field or corporate events management experience within a technology, software, or e-commerce organization.
  • Experience in events and field marketing within the e-commerce sector.
  • Experience leading and executing industry events similar to Shoptalk, NRF, or eTail.
  • Proven ownership and management of event budgets across varying scale and complexity.
  • Experience planning events with clearly defined budgets, objectives, and measurable KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of core marketing metrics and how to apply them to event success and field marketing impact.
  • Experience with event management tools and platforms such as Asana, Marketo, Cvent, Salesforce, HubSpot, and virtual event platforms.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and deadline management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales and Client Success.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience supporting events in North America across diverse industries and market segments (preferred).
  • Experience working directly with sales to drive measurable results (preferred).
  • Preferably based on the U.S. East Coast due to collaboration with a global field marketing team.
  • Ability to travel 25%–40%.

  • Expected base salary of $100,000–$145,000 per year.
  • Discretionary bonus of 12% of annual base salary for non-sales roles.
