Description

  • Design and execute integrated demand generation programs, including webinars, workshops, and digital campaigns, to build a qualified sales pipeline.
  • Partner with the India Sales and Business Development teams to align marketing efforts with regional revenue goals.
  • Monitor the progression from community engagement to sales-ready opportunities and optimize the funnel.
  • Lead end-to-end strategy and execution for flagship brand conferences in India.
  • Manage field marketing activities such as industry trade shows and executive roundtables.
  • Own event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor management, on-site execution, and lead capture.
  • Build and nurture the TiDB developer community in India through direct engagement with local user groups, developers, and architects.
  • Identify and collaborate with local tech communities and ecosystem partners to expand TiDB’s reach in India.
  • Work with global Digital Marketing, PR, and local agencies to inform paid media, social strategy, and media visibility.
  • Ensure whitepapers, case studies, and messaging are localized for the Indian market.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in B2B technology marketing, preferably within a global MNC in cloud, SaaS, or infrastructure.
  • Direct, hands-on experience planning and executing flagship brand conferences and large-scale developer events.
  • Strong focus on lead generation and pipeline contribution, with comfort being measured by business impact.
  • A senior, hands-on approach with willingness to draft copy, manage vendors, and support event execution.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical value into clear, engaging messages for developers and executives.
  • Experience operating within a global framework while maintaining local agility.
  • Preferably experience in a global MNC environment.
  • A proven track record of running large-scale, professional events from the ground up.
