Description

  • Own the day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns across email, paid, content, and events.
  • Build, manage, and continuously optimise the sales and marketing tech stack, including CRM, automation, analytics, LLMs, and AI-driven tools.
  • Act as the internal interface between the business and agency partners by gathering briefs and translating subject matter expertise into campaign-ready materials.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to automate sales and marketing tasks and implement solutions using AI and no-code/low-code tools.
  • Build Ripjar’s knowledge graph and develop new marketing and operational capabilities.
  • Track, report on, and act on performance data, owning key sales and marketing metrics.
  • Work with the agency to shape Ripjar’s brand voice and content across the website, social channels, and sales collateral.
  • Stay current on AI-powered marketing tools and bring new capabilities into the team’s workflow.
  • Support campaign delivery by chasing inputs, extracting knowledge from stakeholders, and keeping work moving without delays.

Requirements

  • Experience in a marketing, growth, marketing operations, or technical role with significant marketing exposure.
  • A genuine interest in or background in software engineering, systems thinking, or technical problem-solving.
  • Confidence working with CRM, automation, analytics, and paid marketing tools, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Demonstrable experience using AI tools and integrating AI into workflows.
  • Demonstrable familiarity or expertise with HTML/CSS, SQL, and APIs.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work diplomatically with busy colleagues and external partners.
  • A confident, action-oriented decision-making style with clear communication under uncertainty.
  • Strong written communication skills for briefs, copy, and emails.
  • Experience managing and executing Marketo campaigns.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, regtech, or a similarly technical industry (nice to have).
  • Experience managing relationships with external agencies (nice to have).
  • Exposure to account-based marketing (ABM) strategies (nice to have).
  • Experience with coding or scripting such as Python or JavaScript, even at a hobbyist level (nice to have).
  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment where resourcefulness and self-direction were required (nice to have).
  • Comfortable using tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, Looker, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Zapier, Make, Notion, Airtable, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
