Description

  • Develop and lead business development strategies to identify new opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and training for clients, prospects, and industry audiences.
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships and negotiate mutually satisfactory engagement terms.
  • Lead and mentor a multi-disciplined team to achieve revenue, billing efficiency, and profit targets.
  • Manage incoming jobs by defining methodology, scope, timelines, client expectations, and budgets.
  • Coordinate multiple projects across team members and balance workloads across disciplines and regions.
  • Consult with internal experts to develop comprehensive technical solutions.
  • Prepare technical expert reports and client strategy recommendations.
  • Select appropriate methodologies for claim assessment and act as final reviewer for RFPs and job submissions.
  • Write articles for publication and represent Rimkus at industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is required.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • AACE Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification is a plus.
  • Previous management experience is required.
  • Experience in project controls or project management on major capital construction projects is required.
  • Experience with contractual dispute matters is required.
  • Experience across multiple sectors, including onshore/offshore construction, oil and gas, petrochemical, and renewables, is required.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office products is required.
  • Technical writing and testifying experience are required.
  • Experience with estimating software is a plus.
  • Experience with Builders Risk policies, including Delay in Start Up and Business Interruption, is required.
  • Insurance claims experience in delay start-up and Builders Risk/Business Interruption is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and work overtime as needed is required.
  • Salary range is $185,000 to $225,000, depending on education, experience, location, and certifications/licensure.
