Description

  • Manage and sell Renaissance Learning products and services within an assigned territory.
  • Drive new business, renewals, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Proactively engage multiple decision makers and coordinate communication throughout the sales cycle.
  • Grow the assigned book of business by identifying opportunities to expand account value.
  • Use consultative selling to align solutions with customer needs and strategic objectives.
  • Lead collaboration with internal account teams, Customer Success partners, and external stakeholders to develop winning solutions.
  • Serve as the primary account contact to strengthen customer loyalty, retention, and long-term relationships.
  • Maintain high renewal rates while delivering business value and supporting account expansion.
  • Apply knowledge of K–12 education markets, school funding, purchasing processes, and administrative workflows.
  • Build credibility with customers by delivering accurate information, market insights, and reliable follow-through.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of prior sales experience.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales technology such as Salesforce and MS Dynamics.
  • Knowledge of education customers, organizational structures, and leadership personas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Experience in education sales is preferred.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and creative problem-solving are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the K–12 education space, including public, private, and parochial schools, is preferred.
  • Occasional travel within Texas for customer engagements, conferences, and other revenue-generating activities is required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; sponsorship is not available.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $51,100 to $70,300.
  • Total target compensation range of $102,000 to $140,000.
