Description

  • Manage assigned territory to drive new business, renewals, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities.
  • Grow the assigned book of business and exceed revenue goals.
  • Serve as the primary account contact for customers and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Use consultative selling to align Renaissance solutions with customer needs and strategic objectives.
  • Lead collaboration across internal teams, Customer Success partners, and Account Executives to develop winning solutions.
  • Engage multiple decision makers throughout the sales cycle to maintain alignment and close opportunities.
  • Build customer loyalty and retention while identifying opportunities for business value and expansion.
  • Apply knowledge of the K-12 education market, including districts, school roles, funding, purchasing processes, and buying cycles.
  • Maintain awareness of ed tech trends, competitor activity, and market changes to support customer conversations.
  • Represent the company in customer engagements, conferences, and other revenue-generating activities, with occasional travel.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of prior sales experience.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales systems such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics.
  • Knowledge of education customers, their organizational structures, and leadership personas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Experience in education sales (preferred).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and creative problem-solving (preferred).
  • Ability to travel occasionally for customer engagements and conferences.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.
  • Ideally located in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, or Louisiana.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $61,800 to $85,000.
  • Total target compensation of $123,000 to $158,000.
