Description

  • Manage and sell Renaissance Learning products and services within an assigned territory.
  • Prospect for new business and drive revenue growth through customer renewals, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to increase loyalty, retention, and expansion.
  • Serve as the primary account contact for customers and coordinate communication across the opportunity lifecycle.
  • Engage multiple decision makers and use internal and external networks to increase opportunity value.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success partners and Account Executive team members to support account growth.
  • Develop consultative solutions aligned to customer needs and strategic objectives.
  • Lead account team, internal stakeholders, and external partners to close business and deliver customer value.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the K-12 education market, including district structures, funding, purchasing, and buying cycles.
  • Build credibility with customers by providing accurate insights, expertise, and reliable follow-through.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of prior sales experience.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales technology such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics.
  • Knowledge of education customers, their organizational structures, and leadership personas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Experience in education sales (preferred).
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and creative problem-solving ability (preferred).
  • Occasional travel within northern Texas for customer engagements, conferences, and other revenue-generating activities.
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

  • Base salary range of $51,100 to $70,300.
  • Total target compensation range of $102,000 to $140,000.
