Description

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Time & Attendance and support complex client and employee cases, including employment law changes and collective bargaining agreement updates.
  • Manage employee lifecycle leave and working hours cases end to end, including family leave, sick leave, time tracking, public holidays, and working time.
  • Advise clients and employees on employment legislation and interpret legal and contractual requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders such as payroll, legal counsel, and government bodies to ensure compliance.
  • Support critical initiatives affecting employees across multiple countries and assist with HR and financial audits.
  • Develop, update, and maintain global Time & Attendance documentation in response to legislative changes.
  • Respond proactively to internal and external inquiries in collaboration with Lifecycle stakeholders.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements, automation, product development, and responsible AI adoption across the employee lifecycle.
  • Safely handle employee data and confidential information while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
  • Promote Remote’s values and contribute to the success of the Lifecycle team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
  • Experience providing HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead difficult conversations to positive outcomes while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Advanced written and spoken English at a business level; additional languages are a plus.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for process optimization, automation, and best practices.
  • Strong operational efficiency with attention to documentation and data integrity.
  • Comfort working asynchronously with various tools and adapting to evolving systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international, remote environment with multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G Suite.
  • AI fluency and the ability to use AI-assisted tools safely in an HR context, including confidentiality and data-handling practices.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Experience managing long-term sick leave or extended absence cases end to end is preferred.
