Description

  • Manage end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Advise clients on terminations, resignations, transfers, contracts, and redundancy processes.
  • Lead client and employee meetings for consultations, hearings, negotiations, and termination outcomes.
  • Negotiate complex terminations while balancing competing stakeholder interests.
  • Coordinate offboarding compliance with payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, trade unions, and other stakeholders.
  • Draft, tailor, and administer termination and supplementary documents accurately and confidentially.
  • Process offboarding cases in Remote's internal HRIS and coordinate with internal teams such as Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for internal and external offboarding questions.
  • Support clients with employee relations concerns, including preliminary assessments and coordination of appropriate resources.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements, automation, and product and customer experience enhancements.

Requirements

  • Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR exposure across the employee lifecycle.
  • Proven experience managing voluntary and involuntary exits with legal compliance and sensitivity.
  • Experience supporting employment law and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments and analyze complex HR issues.
  • Basic understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline, and workplace investigation fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Business-level advanced proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote international environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency.
  • Tech-savvy and able to collaborate effectively across various tools and evolving systems.
